Happy Birthday to ME!!!

I had a great time with a weekend at the cottage with the Bf. He made me amazing dinners every night, we walked, talked, laughed,shopped and really just relaxed.I also attended dinners with family and friends. I had a wonderful birthday...on to the next chapter

Happy Belated Canada Day!!!

The weather was fantastic for the long weekend. We headed up to my bf cottage for some fun in the sun and family time! We got there Friday for dinner, yummy chicken fajitas. Within two hours of being there the bf was feeling nauseous. I will inform you that he has been sick for the past three weeks or so due to the medication he is on for his back pain. He has a slip disc in his back. I feel so helpless not being able to truely comfort him or make him feel better. He is in so much pain and were waiting to receive another MRI so he can book a surgery. We've heard that it may take months for him to even be seen to get an MRI. We headed back home Saturday evening after a quick dip in the lake. He feels more comfortable at home. I wish I could take away all his pain but for now I will keep praying that he gets in early so he can go back to enjoying life

I tried the new Salon Effects from Sally Hansen. I think they are a great idea. My first attempt were the shimmer pair (sorry forgot the name) Then I tried Check it out (black and white) I did a way better job of applying them. I will be buying more.

Dislike

1. The price $9.99 cdn. I get it because your paying for the nail file and the cuticle stick as well ..but its pricey for one application

2. You receive 16 Nail strips you will use 10 unless you mess up but then the other left over dry out???????

I finally bought the Urban Decay eyeshadow primer! I am not sure why I waited so long, it is AMAZING! It is heaven it works so well the only downfall the tube broke. I guess I should not be in shock because I have seen the millions of complaints about their bottles on YouTube. I bought a little travel container from Walmart.

I have an oily t - zone so I decided as well to buy the Urban Decay De Slick. It is suppose to help with all the oil. I sprayed it before my makeup and after my makeup. It was alright not as much shine as usual on my nose. I may try the All Nighter Ive heard some good things...

Happy Love Day

I hope everyone is feeling the LOVE today!

I had the day off today and was able to stay indoors, it is minus 28 today!!! I stayed in front of the fire and caught up on my magazines,blogs, and reading! I am reading one of my favourite authors Jodi Picoult!

I purchased a Stila lip stain in raspberry crush!!!!love it. I have to say it is awesome product. It actually does last all day. I do apply lip gloss over top to give it the shine I enjoy!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CANADA!!!!

My bf and I decided to head to Niagara Falls for the weekend. I couldnt get tickets for the days I wanted to go to Allegria for Ciruqe De Soleil. I am not that sad because I know it comes back end of August...Niagara so far has had AMAZING weather!!!!!! We went wine tasting, sight seeing and a tiny bit of shopping. A lot of walking has gone on for this getaway!!!
